Suffering from an ear infection, Lydia Russo, 9, waits in an exam room with her mother Cassandra, father Tony, and 9 week-old sister Angelina at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch, Utah, Wednesday, September 30, 2009. The family made the drive from their home in Tropic, a small town situated 28 miles southeast of Panguitch and just east of Bryce Canyon National Park in the Dixie National Forest. The small town hospital situated in the country seat of Garfield County has busy summer seasons taking care of foreign and American tourists who are injured or get sick visiting the surrounding national forests and parks. When the season ends, the hospital returns to a lull period of taking care of local patients.

This is from a story on this small town hospital in southern Utah that has a very busy summer season treating American and foreign tourists.

I had a lot of images. There was supposed to be a slideshow. Oh, well. Right? Here is the story
