Many gay friendly businesses in the Castro District such as A Different Light Bookstore have closed recently and the some newer establishments that cater largely to straight patrons have caused some in the Castro to notice a change. Many have complained about patrons of places like restaurant and club Lime as being obnoxious or disruptive. Mr. Chandra has been to Lime Sunday brunches and can recall them getting a little out of control, saying “some people just got crazy.”
